Analyzing by Sight

Picture via

As Elsie Lincoln Benedict and Ralph Paine Benedict stated in their book How to Analyze People on Sight Through the Science of Human Analysis: The Five Human Types,
“Modern science has proved that the fundamental traits of every individual are indelibly stamped in the shape of his body, head, face and hands – an X-ray by which you can read the characteristics of any person on sight.”
Did you know that you can figure out someone’s personality type by observing their appearance and a few of their actions? And that by knowing their personality type and what pleases that type you can better your chances of winning them over – possibly getting the job you are interviewing for? It’s as easy as one, two, three, once you know the facts behind each of the five basic personality types: the Alimentive; the Thoracic, the Muscular, the Osseous, and the Cerebral.
The tricky part is that the vast majority of the world’s population is a mixture of two or more of these basic types. Although not many are a clear-cut basic personality type, the signs of each type are so apparent that you will be able to figure out what mixture of types a person is composed of in no time.

  1. I wonder if this is actually true or not, like just because they look that certain way they act a certain way too? Anyways, It's all interesting and intriguing, I can't wait to read more Kay! :)

    1. These personality types do not necessarily apply to all. However, for most, or at least some, they behave the way they do based on how their bodies are built. For example, if one is built like the alimentive type, their movements would be slowed and it would require a lot more energy for them to move. Therefore, they tend to measure their movements and only move when they think it would best benefit them.

Though this is how I understand this, I can't confirm for sure if this is the case! It's an interesting read indeed.

  2. Well, the only thing I can say is for you to go out and test the techniques on people you know; perhaps your friends. You most likely know them extremely well. Use the descriptions of the types in my next posts and see which fit with your friends and if their features match their personality than I guess it is true. (: I have tried it out on a ton of people I know, and so far it has worked magically. Thanks for your interest, I plan to keep you intrigued! (:
